I am a lighting designer and educator, currently based in Lexington, Kentucky. I am the Visiting Lecturer of Lighting and Sound Design at the University of Kentucky, and earned my MFA from Michigan State University and am a proud member of the Lighting Commission and member of USITT.

My approach to design prioritizes collaborative storytelling. If a team is working together to serve the story, creativity can thrive. Lighting is a beautiful, ethereal tool that allows even the most subtle changes to tell stories. I love telling stories from diverse perspectives and new works. Lighting is a compliment, and a necessity, to fully immerse and audience in a production. I teach design with this same philosophy in mind, to put the ego aside for the good of the work produced by the entire team.
